Kia ora koutou,

As you will already be aware, the Prime Minister recently announced that we are moving to Covid-19 Alert Level 3 and that 48 hours following that we will be moving to Alert Level 4. This means schools will close for onsite instruction for all students on Wednesday.

The current term will finish on Friday of this week. Term 2 will, at this stage, begin on Wednesday, 15th April. Work for students will be provided for Wednesday-Friday of this week.

Ellesmere College is still open for instruction through online learning by clicking on the link at the bottom of this section.

Please ensure that you:

  • Read through the Student Expectations on our LfH website.
  • Read through the Info for Parents section on our LfH website.

From Wednesday students will need to:

  • “Check-in” by 10am.
  • Work will be online from teachers by 10.30am.
  • Have a “face-to-face” meet with their Learning Advisor. This could be individually or in a small group using Google Hangouts Meet.
  • Have a “face-to-face” meet with their subject teachers. This will be scheduled by the teacher during one of your normal timetabled lessons with them.

Please ensure that you:

  • Read through the Student Expectations on our LfH website.
  • Read through the Info for Parents section on our LfH website.
