This CLM is all about encouraging students to write their own stories – without having a teacher telling them what or how they should write. Our goal is to produce a ‘book’ of stories that will appeal to the students’ peer groups and encourage them to read.
The stories when complete will be written and illustrated by the students with minimal teacher input. (Unless they have asked for the teacher to give them some ideas or feedback) In order to get some structure and feedback on their writing they have been encouraged to copy their stories into Writers Toolbox and to use the feedback tools there to help them edit their own work.
The Stories here are shared by the students – some are still works in progress and some students did not share their stories as they felt they wanted to ‘polish’ them up more
