Uniform Sales
The Ellesmere College PE uniform can be purchased from the Uniform Shop at the College Office and the price list can be found at the bottom of this article.
The Uniform shop is open during term time.
During school holidays the shop is only open at specific times and these details are made available through the College website, Facebook page and via email.
If uniform is required outside these times please contact the College on 324 3369
Second Hand Uniform Sales
Alternatively, the PTA sells second hand uniform items. The prices for second hand items are roughly a third of new prices and all funds raised are used for the benefit of the students in the College. The second hand shop is usually open on the first two Mondays and last two Mondays of each term. Skirt
Navy blue side pleated skirt, minimum skirt length 3cm above the knee.
Blouse
Summer white blouse, open-necked, short-sleeved, fitted blouse embroidered ‘Ellesmere College’ worn outside the skirt
Jersey
Years 7 to Years 13: Regulation dark navy blue V-necked jersey with Ellesmere College monogram
Socks
Plain white short socks. No trims.
Shoes
Dark brown or black lace up polished leather shoes; or dark brown or black T-bar polished leather shoes with complete cover of the toes.

Year 13 Mufti Option
All Year 13 students will be required to wear formal dress uniform when involved in school trips; therefore they must retain their winter uniform.

Hair
Hair accessories in any mono colour of navy, cardinal red or pale blue, or to match hair.
Boys must be clean shaven.
In style, length, and colour of hair, students must maintain a standard of neatness and cleanliness appropriate and consistent with a high standard of presentation. It must be consistent with requirements of containment and security, to meet safety regulations for the participation of all activities within the school, and curriculum delivery, that is all hair shoulder length or longer must be tied up appropriately. Extremes of style, length and colour and general fashion of presentation and appearance are not permitted.
Outerwear
Students wearing outer garments must choose from the following options:
No jewellery except a watch. Students may wear a pair of gold or silver ear studs. Studs may only be worn one in each ear lobe.
No cosmetics e.g. face or eye make-up; nail varnish etc.
Ellesmere College Jerseys: Year 7 and 8 will be in Teal jerseys until 2019. Year 9 and 10 will change into the Navy blue jersey when purchasing a new jersey. All students will be in Navy blue jersey by the start of the school year in 2020.
